4.

Carefully lift the fan from the styrofoam
packaging and seat the hanger ball/down-
rod assembly on the hanger bracket that
was just attached to the outlet box (Figure
13). Be sure the groove in the ball is lined
up with the tab on the hanger bracket
(Figure 10).

3.

Screw in four 25-watt (maximum) cande-
labra base bulbs (supplied) in the sockets on
top of the housing (Figure 12). Then posi-
tion the upper glass (small opening towards
the top) on the fan housing. (The flat spots
on the upper glass flange should align with
the tabs on the housing.) Turn the glass
clockwise until it stops.

2.

Position the top and bottom halves of the
styrofoam packaging side-by-side on the
floor with a three or four-inch gap between
them (Figure 11). Carefully place the
assembled ceiling fan on the styrofoam
halves, with the switch housing positioned
in the gap.

Failure to seat tab in groove could cause
damage to electrical wires and possible
shock or fire hazard.

!

WARNING

To avoid possible fire or shock, do not
pinch wires between the hanger ball/down-
rod assembly and hanger bracket.
