• Take the iron by the handle.
• Iron your laundry.
• Press the spray button to moisten the fabric while
ironing.
• Stand the iron on its heel after use.
• Turn the temperature control dial to ‘0’.
• Remove the plug from the mains power socket.
• Allow the appliance to cool down completely.
• Clean the appliance, see 'Cleaning and
Maintenance'.

• Always start by ironing fabrics that need to be
ironed at a low temperature. Then iron fabrics that
can be ironed at a higher temperature.
• Remove the plug from the mains power socket.
• Allow the appliance to cool down completely.
• Clean the appliance, see 'Cleaning and
Maintenance'.
Comment:
• If water droplets are formed as well as steam whilst
ironing, set the temperature-control dial to a higher
setting.
Ironing without the use of steam
PLEASE NOTE:
• The appliance's soleplate will become hot during
use. Do not touch it.
Iron synthetic fabrics, such as nylon en polyester, at a
low temperature.
• Stand the iron on its heel on a level, stable, heat-
resistant surface.
• If you wish to use the spray button whilst ironing, fill
the water reservoir with water, see ‘Filling the water
reservoir’.
• Turn the steam control to ‘0’. Since you are ironing
at a low temperature, you will not be able to use
steam. Set the steam control to ‘0’ to prevent water
from dripping out of the iron onto your clothes.
• Insert the plug into the mains power socket.
• Set the temperature control dial to the desired
setting. The temperature indicator will be lit. The
temperature indicator light will go out once the set
