POWER SOURCES
This unit operates on AC 230V~ 50Hz or 6 pieces of 1.5V
“C” (UM-2) batteries. Do not attempt to operate
the radio on any other power source. You could cause damage to the unit and void your warranty.
Please be sure the power outlet you plug this unit into is working and receives constant (unswitched)
power.
AC OPERATION
Plug the detachable AC cord into a standard AC outlet (230V~50Hz).
1. When the AC power cord (included) is connected to the AC Power Socket on the back of the unit and
the other end is plugged into a 230V AC~ 50Hz wall outlet, the unit will disconnect the batteries
automatically, and operate on AC Power only.
2. When you first plug the unit into the mains, the unit is OFF mode. The Power Indicator LED is off.
3. Slide the FUNCTION Switch
to “CD/AUX/USB” for AUX or CD play, “FM” for FM radio, “AM” for AM
radio - the Power Indicator LED will light up.
4. Slide the FUNCTION Switch to
“OFF” for unit power off. In AM/FM modes, the LCD display is OFF.
WARNINGS :
When pull out the AC power cord, it is required to pull with the hand holding the plug section, but not pulling out
directly the AC power cord.
It is forbidden to touch the AC power supply plug with wet hands, since it may cause an electric shock.
The power cord should be placed at a fixed status to avoid twist standing or trample. Do not use AC power socket
with too thin and elongated electric wires since too heavy load for the socket may cause fire or electrical shock
accident.
When the product is not to be used for a long time, it is required to pull out the AC power supply plug from the
power supply socket or take out the battery to avoid the battery liquid leaking out and damaging the component
inside the player.
Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet to protect your set during heavy thunderstorms.
BATTERY OPERATION
For DC operation, firstly remove the AC plug from the AC outlet and disconnect the AC cord from the AC-IN
jack.

Remove the Battery Door on the bottom of the unit (according to the direction shown in the battery
door of the product).
