release the button when the engine
has started.

1. Be sure to install the stop switch lock
to the stop switch, and attach the
stop switch lanyard securely to the
operator or to the operator's PFD
(Personal Flotation Device.)

2. Insert the main switch key.
3. Set the control lever in the Neutral
position.

If the engine starts in gear, do not use it.
Contact an authorized dealer.
4. Set the throttle grip to START posi-
tion.

5. Turn the main switch key to ON posi-
tion and turn the main switch key to
START position and release the key
when the engine has started. The key
returns to the original position,
automatically.
