IMPORTANT NOTES:
- DO NOT ALLOW KETTLE TO BOIL DRY
- NEVER PLACE ON HOT STOVE OR IN OVEN
CAUTION:
Extreme caution must be used when moving any appliance
containing hot water. Care should be taken when pouring the hot water
to avoid personal injury. POUR SLOWLY.
CARE AND CLEANING
Under normal use, a deposit of scale may form on the inside of the Kettle.
This scale build-up can be delayed by pouring out old water and refilling
before each use.
1. Unplug Power Cord from wall outlet and allow Kettle to cool before cleaning.
2. Scale which has accumulated inside the Kettle can be removed by boiling
equal parts of white vinegar and water (2 cups of each is recommended).
Once the water has boiled, allow mixture to stand overnight. Empty out
mixture and fill Kettle. Bring water to a boil and discard. For heavy scale
build-up, repeat this process.
3. To preserve the exterior finish of the Kettle, use a soft cloth with water
and mild soap if necessary.
DO NOT
use abrasive cleaners. Dry thoroughly
before use.
4.
DO NOT IMMERSE KETTLE IN WATER OR OTHER LIQUID.
