Descaling

Over a period of time, minerals and calcium found in water will accumulate
in your Coffee Maker and may affect its operation. The appliance should be
cleaned approximately every six months, depending on water conditions.
Use distilled vinegar in the following manner to remove the mineral deposits.
1.  Fill the Mug 2/3 full with white vinegar and then to the top with cold

water.

2.  Pour into the Water Reservoir
3.  Remove the Permanent Nylon Filter.
4.  Place the Mug, without the Cover under the dispenser.
5.  Plug the unit into a 120 Volt A.C. outlet.

6.  If the ON Indicator Light is already on then the cycle will start

automatically.   If the Indicator Light is not on, press the ON button and
the light will illuminate and the cycle will start.

7.  Once the water and vinegar solution has finished dripping in the Mug,

remove the plug from the wall outlet.

8.  Wait 3 - 4 minutes then repeat the above steps using cold water to rinse

away any residual vinegar. Repeat twice.

9.  Wash the Mug in warm soapy water.
