ARCHITECT’S AND
The speaker system shall be a full-range
ENGINEER’S
personal monitor speaker system designed for
SPECIFICATIONS
professional applications. It shall have a power
handling capacity of 200 watts continuous
program material at an impedance of 8 ohms,
and shall feature a variable input attenuator to
adjust the volume. The infinite baffle design
shall incorporate two full-range cone-type
speakers (5"/12cm) in a sealed enclosure for
maximum efficiency. The cast aluminum en-
closure shall be both rugged and lightweight,
and the adjustable mounting bracket shall allow
the SM-68 to be mounted to mic stands for
stage use, or to walls for permanent installations.
The speaker system shall meet the following
criteria: Sensitivity: 90dB at 1 meter with 1 watt.
Frequency response: 110Hz~16kHz. Attenua-
tion: 0dB to 40dB or more. Front grill: Perforated
metal. Body: Cast aluminum. Connectors: Two
locking type 1/4" phone jacks. Dimensions:
12.8" (W) x 6.7" (H) x 5.5" (D). Weight: Approx.
10.6 pounds. The speaker system shall be
designated the TOA Model SM-68.
