7. OPERATION

After completing all audio and control connections, connect the power supply, and check the power indicator.

Note:

When the heat sink temperature exceeds 130°C (266 °F), the protection circuit begins to operate to disconnect
the output from the circuit. The disconnected output is automatically restored as soon as the temperature
returns to the normal operating range.

8. INSTALLATION PRECAUTIONS

CAUTION

Keep the amplifier over 10 cm (3.94") away from
objects that may obstruct air flow to prevent the
unit's internal temperature rise.

9. ADJUSTMENT

9.1. Input Sensitivity Selection

Output level is  adjustable  with  individual  -10dBV/-20dBV switch. For those audio source equipments which
always have relative high output level, such as CD players, please set the input sensitivity selection switch to
-10dBV position; otherwise, set to -20dBV position.

9.2. Output Volume Setting

Output level is  adjustable with master volume control.  For music play or announcement, adjust the proper
volume control or sensitivity so that the signal indicator lights intermittently. Note that the sound quality is
downgraded when the peak indicator remains lit.

When a Remove Volume Control is connected, attenuating the value of the potentiometer will reduce the
volume level. This attenuation works for the audio signal after adjusted by its master volume control.
