Introduction
Thank you for deciding to use the resistive respiration belt.
1.1
Product description
The resistive respiration belt is a device for measuring respiration without the use of gel
or other liquid. The resistive respiration belt is designed to be used exclusively with
TMSI signal acquisition devices.
The respiration belt consists of two parts which can be snapped together: an adjustable
and washable resistive belt, and a split interfacing cable.
1.2
Intended use
The resistive respiration belt is intended to measure respiration for biofeedback training,
research, and monitoring in a clinical or home environment.
The measurements can be done ambulant or stationary, depending on the TMSI
acquisition device.
The system is NOT intended for use in a life supporting system.
The belt may never be used on wounds.
The interfacing cable is only
intended for use with the respiration belt. Don’t use the
cable for other purposes.

Indications for use
The resistive respiration belt is intended to be used by or under the supervision of a
qualified physician.
