Securing the child correctly
To ensure optimum safety for your child, please always check before
commencing travel that:
• the ISOFIX connectors (3) are correctly fastened to the vehicle and
the support leg (1) has been correctly installed.
• the seat is locked in either rear or forward facing position.
• the headrest has been adjusted to the correct height.
• the 5-point belt system has been correctly adjusted to the size of
the child, the shoulder belts (17) have not been twisted and the belt
system has been locked.
• the support leg (1) has been stood to the car floor safely and the
support leg indicator (10) shows green.
Newborns and infants who are not yet able to sit up by themselves (up to
around 1 year) should, for orthopedic and safety reasons, always be
transported in the flattest recline position rearward-facing.
