If the inserts are not in the legs please place 1 top and 1 bottom insert into each of the 4 legs supplied.

(Round inset goes to the bottom of the leg and pointed inset goes to the top of the leg.

To the bottom of the brooder hen (Silver side) there are

four leg mounting plates, each one has a clip that you

push to allow the leg to be ﬁtted into the brooder hen.

Push this clip and lower the leg down through the

brooder hen with the ﬂat lower insert going to the

lower side of the brooder hen. Release the clip to lock

the leg in place. Repeat for all 4 legs.

How to Set Up

Plug the unit in and ensure the silver side faces down, allow upto 60

minutes for the brooder hen to get to the correct heat.

ENSURE

the brooder hen is a minimum of 3cm above the litter/bedding

you are using for the chicks.
