Listening to Radio, Nature Sounds or AUX device

Note:

 Extend the FM wire antenna fully for best FM reception. Rotate the unit as needed for best AM reception.

1.  Press the 

Alarm Reset/Power Button

 to turn on the unit. 

2.  To listen to the radio, set the 

Function Switch

 on the right side of the unit to the desired AM or FM band. 

The current radio frequency will appear in the lower part of the display.

3.  Turn the 

Tuning Control

 dial to select a station.

4.  To listen to Nature Sounds, set the 

Function Switch

 to Sounds and press the 

<<

 or 

>> Button

 to select 

one of the four different sounds: forest, bells, heartbeat and ocean

5.  To listen to an AUX audio device such as a MP3 player, set the 

Function Switch

 to AUX . Attach an audio 

patch cord from your audio device‘s line out or headphone jack to the MP3-in Jack on the T436 and play 
your MP3, CD or other audio device. You may need to adjust your audio device’s volume to get the best 
result.

6.  Turn the 

Volume Dial

 to adjust volume. Remember to turn off your AUX device when you are done

 listening.

7.  To stop listening press the 

Alarm Reset/Power On/Off Button

 to turn off the unit.

Sleep Operation

Sleep mode lets you sleep to the radio or to nature sounds until the unit shuts off after the selected time.

1.  Press the 

Sleep Button

 to enter sleep mode. The 

Sleep Icon

 will appear on the display to indicate sleep 

mode is activated. 

2.  You can adjust the sleep timer from 90, 60, 30 or 15 minutes by pressing the button again as needed. The 

unit will automatically turn off after the selected time.

3.  When the display changes back to show either radio frequency or nature sound, press the 

Sleep Button

 

once to show the sleep time remaining. Press again to change the sleep time to the next lowest setting.

4.  To stop listening at any time, press the 

Alarm Reset/Power Button

 to turn the unit off.
