GREASE THE ROLLER BOX
NOTE: This should be done regularly. In dirty or dusty
conditions or during periods of hard work it should be done
daily. If the slides become dry the top roller will tend to hang up
and the pulling-in power of the rollers will be much reduced.
Excessive wear will ensue.
1.
Locate the central greasing point next to the
roller box guards.
2.
Apply multipurpose grease liberally to each point
with grease gun.

Refer to your Engine Manufacturer’s Handbook for detailed instructions on the following:
GREASING ROTOR BEARINGS
Both front and rear bearings are sealed and do not need greasing.
1.
Stop the machine and remove the ignition key.
2.
Unbolt the control box and safety switch from
the funnel.
3.
Using lifting equipment remove the feed
funnel.
4.
Use an angle grinder to re create and edge.
The rollers may be turned by hand to access
successive edges.
5.
It is not overly important to make the edges
razor sharp, more to remove rounded edges.
6.
Re install the funnel and electrics.

1.
Take off the discharge tube by removing the clamp nut and
five M12 bolts.
2.
Clean flange.
3.
Apply multipurpose grease liberally.
4.
Refit discharge tube.

GREASE PROP STAND
The prop stand requires intermittent greasing to maintain a smooth operation.
1.
Brush off dirt with a stiff brush.
2.
Apply grease liberally to screw thread using a brush.
3.
Wind mechanism up and down a couple of times to ensure grease has covered all surfaces.
