Make sure the tool is perpendicular to the
pipe during squeeze-off.
5. Close the handles until the tool goes over center
to the self-locking position and the fl ow is con-
trolled.

Squeeze-off is complete when the tool hits
its’ mechanical stop.
6. Turn
the
Slow Release Nut
clock wise until it is
tight against the bottom jaw.

7. Place a Security Locking Pin (Accessory Part
#TCSP) or Lock-out/tag-out through the holes in
the tool links to prevent accidental release of the
tool during service operations.
