4. Fitting instruction
•
Place hand into the stabilizer so that the immobilizing splint is
located on the palmar side and the thumb passes through the
perforation, while velcro straps are on dorsal side.
•
Adjust and fasten the circumferential strap.
•
Fasten the thumb, then cut the velcro to the desired length
(ManuTim Plus).
Note!
Circumferential straps stabilize the splint and reduce or increase
pressure force. Fasten the straps in such a way that they do not cause
significant impairment of blood flow within the hand and do not bruise
the fingers.
5. Technical data
•
The wrist splint (ManuTim) is available in a universal version. The
wrist can be used interchangeably – it is designed to stabilize the
wrist on both right and left hand.
•
The wrist splint with thumb (ManuTim Plus) is available in two
versions: for left or right hand. Both versions are designed to
stabilize the wrist on the side for which they have been
anatomically formed. They can’t be used interchangeably.
