Aluminium tripod cane with long legs

Characteristics
The tripod cane consists of aluminium-steel frame, height
adjustable ergonomic and chromed handle with soft
foamed handgrip, and of powder coated base with three
legs.

Application
The tripod cane is ancillary equipment designed for patients with
reduced mobility who need help and stable support while walking. The
tripod is also recommended to elderly people as an aid in keeping
balance. The design with three legs provides better stability than
regular canes.
Contraindications:
coordination and balance disorders, advanced
rheumatic changes, injuries and dysfunctions of the upper limbs which
may hinder the user to support on the tripod cane.

Adjustment
To adjust the tripod cane, press the metal pin and select appropriate
position of the inner tube. Lock the position of the tubes relative to
each other with the use of metal pin. The tripod is adjustable in 2.5 cm
increments within the range of 77-98 cm.

To set the proper length of the tripod, stand upright and bent
upper limb in the elbow joint
at the angle of 30°.
•
The tripod should be adjusted individually to the user so that the
handgrip is at the hip joint level.
