Note! Do not use the wheelchair without protective strap.
Step 5. Checking the assembly of wheels
Lift the wheelchair slightly and spin the right wheel and then the left
one by pulling the handrims and check if the wheels spin properly.
On completion of the above activities, the wheelchair is ready to use.
FOLDING
The wheelchair can be re-folded in order to be transported and stored
more easily. Before folding the wheelchair, swing away the footplates
and set them in vertical position (perpendicularly to the ground). Grab
the seat in the middle and lift it upwards until the frame is locked.
FLIP-UP FUNCTION OF ARMRESTS

To flip-up the armrest, press and hold the locking button (locking
pin) located in the front part of the armrest and swing it away.

To close the armrest, push it downwards until the locking button
(locking pin) clicks.
PUMPING THE WHEELS
•
The wheelchair was equipped with pneumatic rear wheels 22’’ in
diameter and swivel, PU front wheels 8’’ in diameter (tubeless
tyre). Remember to control the air pressure in both wheels and
check the condition of the tyres in search of abrasions, cuts or
surface depletion.
WHEEL LOCKS
•
To lock the wheels, push the wheel lock lever forwards until the
wheel is fully blocked (separately for left and right wheel). Please,
note that the wheel lock only serves to lock the wheels when the
wheelchair is at a complete stop.
ATTENDANT BRAKES IN THE MODEL FS 908LJQ
•
The levers of the brakes are located behind the backrest, at the
hand grips on the right and left side, and are connected with
wheel lock by cable.
