Installation

The device can be mounted on the flat and smooth surface with adhesive.
•
The location for the device should meet the following requirements:
•
Rooms with exterior windows, so the dusk sensor is exposed to darkness and can
activated.
•
The dusk sensor can also be activated by street lights or car headlights on busy roads.
•
The device may be not visible from the outside.
•
The power supply must be within reach of the adapter.
•
The projected light of the device must be visible on the walls and ceiling from outside.
Operation
Always on
Press the time selection button until the
digital display shows “1”.
Setting the operation hours
Select the amount of operation hours with the Time Selection Button (5). They will be shown in
the digital display. For example, when the digital display shows “5”, the op
eration duration is set
to 5 hours. A red LED light on the front LED panel illuminates to indicate that the device is set to
that setting.
Programming example for 5 hours of operation after dusk
•
Plug in the adapter to the TV Simulator Plus and connect the adapter to the mains 220V
socket.
•
select ‘5’ on the digital display by pressing the button on the left
-hand side of the digital
display on the back of the device
•
a red LED light appears in the front of the device to confirm the setting
•
after 10 seconds th
e number ‘5’ on the display will disappear.
The device is now active.
•
at dusk the device will switch on automatically for 5 hours
•
after 5 hours of operation the device will switch off
•
this will happen automatically again on the following days - no re-programming is
needed
Please note that if the device is active and simulating a TV, switching on the lights in the room
will cause the device to stop the simulation. It will automatically start again for 5 hours when the
room lights are switched off again.
