After you have completed your inspection, you may now start your engine. Turn the key to the run position
and wait for the wait to start light to turn off. You may now start the engine.
Never use ether or any other
starting fluids to start the electronic engine. The inlet heater can ignite the fumes and cause an
explosion in the air inlet system. Once you have started the engine, monitor your gauges carefully. Make sure
that the oil pressure rises within 15 seconds. If it does not, shut down the engine and call a repair facility to
determine the cause.

Brand New Air Cleaner
10” to 12” of Vacuum
• Change the engine air filter element when the air inlet restriction indicator reaches 25 inches
of vacuum or once a year, whichever occurs first.
