Installation:
Step 1:
Install the screw-on drop chute handles.
Step 2:
Place the unit in the desired location, mark the holes, then remove the unit to drill the
holes for the anchors.
Step 3:
Using a 5/8” bit, drill the (4) holes deep enough to recess anchors 3/8” below surface
of fl oor (approximately 2 ½”). If anchors are installed fl ush with the fl oor surface, the
bolts cannot be tightened all the way down to the bottom of the TACC.
Step 4:
The anchors must be “set” before attempting to install the bolts. To set the anchors,
drive the plug inside the anchor down with a setting tool or center punch, until it is
wedged solidly in the anchor. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO USE THE BOLT TO SET THE AN-
CHOR!
Step 5:
Install the power cord and secure it to the handle of the unit backplate, using the sup-
plied strain relief and screw.
Step 6:
Place the unit into the bolt down location & secure it to the fl oor.
Preparing the unit for operation:
With power applied to the unit and the door open, perform the following steps.
Step 1:
Turn the Door Bolt Key to the locked position, (door locking bar extended).
Step 2:
Just above the door locking bar, remove the phillips head screw and the mylar disable
strip. The door bolt key should not operate now.
Step 3:
Turn the Manager Key, (time delay), to the ON position and release it. It should return
to the OFF position.
Step 4:
Within 30 seconds of turning the Manager key, turn the Door Bolt Key.
If the Door Bolt Key operates (Door Locking Bolt restracts), the door
Solenoid is operating properly. Proceed to step 5.
If the Door Bolt Key does not operate, refer to the TACC-IIa Trouble-
shooting Guide.
Step 5:
Check the vending operations:
a) Place a “Vend Tube” in each column.
b) Insure the Vending Key is ON and the Ready LED is illuminated (If not, turn the
Time Delay Key to activate the Ready LED).
c) Press a column and the unit will begin dispensing from the selected column.
d) After the Vend Tube is dispensed, turn the vending OFF, to stop the vending pro-
cess.
e) Turn the Vending Key ON to activate the Ready LED
f) Repeat steps C through E until all Vend Tubes have been dispensed from all col-
umns.
If the above steps operate properly, the unit is ready for operation.
