The device should now be on firmware V 1.7O (This can be verified in Settings > About
> Firmware Version)

Special Note

: If you get the following screen prompt (pic below) – the upgrade

failed

Reasons:



Incompatible initial firmware (Such as

1.0) or



The USB drive is not FAT32 formatted. (It is possibly in NTFS format)

In either case, please use the UP and DOWN keys to select ‘Reboot system now’, and press
OK. The phone will reboot into a normal state.

There would be no user input request during the entire upgrade process.
