Loosen all the straps

While sitting 

down, pull-on 

the knee brace, 

ensuring 

the patella 

(kneecap) is 

positioned in the 

centre of the patella 

ring. Patient should 

stand to check no rucking 

behind knee or at top of thigh

Sit down with the 

knee bent at 70°. 

Adjust lower 

rear strap, 

then higher 

rear strap. 

Straps should be 

snug, not tight

To adjust strap 

length, remove 

the self-gripping 

pad, shorten the 

strap, re-attach 

the pad on the 

strap.

Make sure 

that the 

2 intersecting 

self-gripping straps 

are always positioned 

centrally
