PM5020 Dual-Channel Benchtop Power and Energy Meter
Chapter 4 Operating Instructions
For NTCs connected to ports NTC1 or NTC2, a voltage proportional to the temperature reading of the NTC
can be exported via this port. A slope can be given in mV/°C or mV/K. The output can be configured to 10
V, 4 V, 2 V, or 1 V full scale.
Thermal Position and Power Sensors
A voltage that is proportional to the beam position in the Y-direction is exported. The slope can be set in
mV/µm, The output can be configured to a 0 V +/- 5 V full scale, or to 5 V +/-10 V full scale.
4.5 Digital I/O
The digital ports are located in the left
10-PIN PCB Connector, Digital I/O
, on the rear panel. Aside from the
four I/O pins, ground terminal and 3.3 V or 5 V supplies are provided. Additional SCL and SDA pins can be
utilized together with the ground and power supply pin to integrate specific humidity and temperature
sensors from Texas Instruments (Texas Instrument HDC1080, or the newer HDC3020). The ports can be
conveniently accessed with the supplied push-in terminal block.
for the P10p Digital I/O Terminal.
Note
The front BNC Auxiliary I/O port can be configured as input/output as well. Please see the chapter
The digital I/O parameters can be configured in the
on the touch screen by selecting the Di-
gital I/O icon:
The following interface will appear:
The I/O pins can be assigned with the following options:
1.
Input:
The input is set to default low level by an internal pull-down resistor. Set input to high level by
applying a voltage between 2.4 V and 5 V.
Note
Do not exceed the maximum input voltage of 5 V.
