Chapter 6

Appendix

6.1.

Setting the Line Select Switch

The Swept Source Engine will operate from AC line voltages ranging from 100

– 240 VAC at 50 – 60 Hz. There is

no need to configure the unit for specific line voltages.

The computer may have a line select switch located next to the AC input port at the rear panel of the computer.
Select the proper AC line voltage

before installing the AC line cord

.  If there is no switch, the Power Supply is

universal and will operate from AC line voltages ranging from 100

– 240 VAC at 50 – 60 Hz.

6.2.

Changing the Input Fuses

If for some reason you need to replace an open fuse in the Swept Laser Source, you must perform the following
procedure:

1.  Remove the AC input cable that may be connected to the unit.

2.  Slide open the cover of the fuse holder located at the rear panel of  the Swept Laser Source as shown in

Figure  13.  Remove  the  existing  fuse  and  install  the  appropriate  replacement  fuse  for  the  Swept  Laser
Source.

Use only IS 1A 250AC Type T 5 x 20 mm style fuse (IEC 60127-2/III, Low Breaking Capacity,

slow blow)

3.  Slide the fuse cover closed.
