4.1
Changing the line voltage
The LDC 500 can be operated at line voltages of 100 V, 115 V or 230 V.
Procedure to change the line voltage:
•
Switch off the LDC 500 and remove the line cord.
•
Remove the 2 screws of the top cover (on the bottom of the unit).
•
Slide the top cover off towards the back.
•
Select the desired line voltage at the voltage selector switch near the transformer.
•
Push the top cover back onto the unit and fasten it with the 2 screws.
•
If necessary, change the main fuse (refer to chapter 4.2).
4.2
Replacing the main fuse
If the main fuse has blown due to line distortion, incorrect line voltage or other causes, it can be easily replaced from
the rear without opening the unit.
Attention:
To avoid fire risk, only the fuse designated for the line voltage must be used.
The recommended fuses are:
100 V and 115 V:
0.5 AT
230
V:
0.25
AT
Procedure to replace fuse:
•
Turn off the LDC 500 and disconnect the line cord.
•
Open the fuse drawer of the main connector (R9) with a screwdriver.
•
Replace the defective fuse and close the drawer.
