16. Ensure that the adapter is completely screwed down tight by covering the yellow line on the

in-line connector (

17. Install the Modular Connector Cap onto the end of the Modular Cable.
18. Wrap a clean and dry sterile towel around the Modular Connector Cap and in-line

connector.

The Modular Connector Cap protects the connector from fluids and debris.

Do not disconnect the Modular Cable from the System Controller.

19. Ensure that the cable stays sterile.
20. Secure the length of the Modular Cable (attached to the System Controller) so it does not fall

out of the sterile field.

21. Leave the System Controller power cables connected to the Power Module.

If the power cables are disconnected, the extended alarm silence will be reset.
