Pairing with the Thombox

During the countdown, remove the tab which protects the detector battery (remove the tab 
before installing the detector in its final location).

 

G2 - OPENING DETECTOR FOR DOORS AND WINDOWS

When installed on a door or window, this device will detect any attempts at intrusion (detected 
when the magnet is moved away) and transmits the information to a central unit which triggers 
an alert.

Setup

Pairing with the Thombox

During the countdown, remove the tab which protects the detector battery (remove the tab 
before installing the detector in its final location). Wait for 10-20 seconds.

G3 - ALARM REMOTE CONTROL

The remote control allows you to activate and deactivate your alarm system.
The buttons are typically assigned as follows:
When you press a button on the remote control, the LED on the remote control tells you if your 

Thombox has received the instruction:
•  Red LED: indicates that a radio transmission is taking place.
•  Orange LED: the Thombox has not received the command sent from your remote control. 

If this happens, try again or move closer to your Thombox.

•  Green LED: the Thombox has received the instruction that you sent.

Pairing with the Thombox

During the countdown, hold down the 2 buttons at the top of your remote control for at least 
5 seconds.

G4 - 720P IP CAMERA

Your camera allows you to take photos via the Thombox when movement is detected. Photos 
are stored in the Thombox's 'Cameras' widget, and the live image from the camera is also 
accessible from this same widget.

Setup

The camera connects to your wired or wireless (WiFi) network. To set up the camera, a wired 
connection is required (even if you will later decide to use a wireless connection).

Launch the 'IP Camera Search Tool' included on the CD to locate the camera on your network 
then double click on the corresponding entry.

Connect to your camera from your browser:

Select the language of your choice. The default username is "admin" and there is no pre-set 
password.

The camera will immediately ask you to change the login username:

Type your new username and the password of your choice.

Optional: setting up a wireless connection

Connect to your camera using the username and password you have just created.
Click  on  the  Réglages  [Settings]  tab  then  on  the  'Assistant  de  configuration  [Configuration 
wizard]' button to launch the wizard which allows you to set your camera up for WiFi:

Once you have finished, you can disconnect the network cable from your camera and close 
the page.

You can now install your camera:

Make sure the camera is properly secured to prevent it from falling.
Once you have set up the device, you can adjust the focus of the image if it is lacking 
sharpness. Gently rotate the lens to adjust the focus.
WARNING: Do not unscrew the lens completely or force it.

Pairing with the Thombox

Your camera is optimised for use with a Thombox. Go into the interface of your Thombox to 
pair your camera and click on 'Ajouter une nouvelle caméra [Add new camera]' in the Cameras 
widget:

Tick the box on the row corresponding to your camera, then click Ajouter [Add].
If your camera has not been detected, enter the address of your camera as indicated by the 
IP Camera Search Tool software:

Warning: the default address of your camera ends with ':88'; you should also copy it and the 
IP address of your camera in the Thombox widget. Tick the relevant camera, then click on 
Ajouter [Add].

Your camera will be configured automatically in the Thombox interface. Enter your username 
and password:

If you want your camera to send images to the Thombox when motion is detected, click on 
the 'Copier les réglages dans la caméra [Copy settings to camera]' button at the bottom of the 
window. Your Thombox will then write the destination for the images to the camera settings.

This completes the configuration.
