2.4.6 Restricting Wireless Access
ACL
The Access Control List (ACL) enables you to allow/deny access to your wireless
network for specific wireless clients.
ACL modes
Following modes are supported:
Off
:
All new stations are allowed to access the SpeedTouch™716g WLAN
.
On in
Allow mode
Only stations that are listed in the ACL are allowed to access the
SpeedTouch™716g WLAN.
On in Deny mode
All stations that are
not
listed in the ACL are allowed to access the
SpeedTouch™716g WLAN.
Adding a new ACL entry
To add a new MAC address to your wireless MAC address filters:

Open the SpeedTouch™ web pages.

Browse to
Wireless > Access Control
.

Click
View Access Control List
.

The
Wireless Access Control List
page appears:
Click
Add
.

Enter the MAC Address of the wireless device you want to allow in the
MAC
address of wireless adaptor
field:
Click
Apply
.

The SpeedTouch™716g adds the entry to the
Access Control List
:
Removing an ACL entry
To delete the a MAC address from the list:

On the
Wireless Action Control List
page, click .

The SpeedTouch™716g prompts you to confirm your choice. Click
Yes
.

The entry has been deleted.
