Advanced settings
Change system PIN
The system PIN is required for handset registration and de-registration, and for accessing the answering machine
remotely. The default Master PIN code is
0000
.

Registration
Registration is the process to link a new handset to the base. A maximum of 4 handsets can be associated with
the
base. This base is compatible with Thomson’s handset and other GAP
-compatible handsets.
Handset batteries must be fully charged and you must be closed to the base to register.
Handset that supplied inside this package is already registered.

After few seconds, there will a confirmation sound from the handset. The handset and base have registered
successfully. It will automatically assign a number which is displayed on the handset and must be used for
internal calls.
Notes:
1)
If the PIN code is incorrect, the handset returns to standby after 2 minutes. Try registering again.
2)
If no base is found in 2 minutes, an error tone to indicate failed registration and the handset returns to
standby mode. Try registering again.

machine messages will not be removed).
Set prefix number
Note:
This option is not applied for France.
This allows you to define a prefix number (PREDIX NB.) being added to the beginning of any pre-dialed number,
and to define a detect string (DETECT DIGIT) to prevent the prefix number being added unless the detect string
matches the first digits of the pre-dialed number, in which case the prefix number will replace the detect string
digits. If no detect string number is entered, the prefix number will be automatically added to the pre-dial
number after the
Talk
button is pressed.
You can enter up to 5 digits for the detect string and up to 10 digits for the auto prefix number.
