Matte Menus
Matte Menus
The Matte menus give you control over matte color, type, and appearance.
Category selection buttons exist at the bottom of each menu, allowing you
to select M/E or Background mattes.
Matte - M/E Menu
When M/E or Pgm Pst is selected (
), touch pads are displayed
for each keyer, and for the two wipes of that M/E. Touching any of these
pads displays the current parameters in the remainder of the menu, with
soft knob control. Color swatches that approximately match each matte
color appear on each touch pad. A washed matte is represented by a pair of
swatches, one for the base color and one for the wash color.

Primary
and
Secondary
partition delegation buttons provide independent
control of the mattes used in the Primary and Secondary partitions of a split
M/E (available with the DoubleTake option). See the separate Kalypso User
Manual for more information about DoubleTake split Mode M/E parti-
tions.
