External Device E-MEM Menus
The External Device Event List menu is accessed by touching
Extern Device

Event List

). The Event List itself appears in the right pane, list
editing controls appear in the central pane, and a clip browser from which
clips are selected appears in the left pane.

CAUTION
If an Event List is loaded that has the names of clips that have been deleted
from the DDR, there is no advance notification that clips are missing, com-
mands for the missing clips will be ignored, and those clips will not play.
Clip Browser
The name of the external device the menu is delegated to control is dis-
played on the Device data pad at the upper left. Touching this data pad
brings up the Device Picker, permitting selection of a different device

The scrolling pane below has buttons for all the clips residing on the
selected device. Touching a clip button selects that clip. The action (if any)
performed when a clip is selected is determined by the status of the List
Edit and Event List panes on the right.
The buttons in the Clip Browser are arranged in alphabetical order,
including the path. Clip “Apple” will be listed above clip “Zebra” if they
are stored in the same DDR folder. The paths for clips are not displayed on
the buttons, but will affect the order of the clips in the Clip Browser. If some
