Eng Setups Menus
When in Multi-Suite mode a menu similar to

The
Suite 1 Indep
and
Suite 2 Indep
buttons assign that Aux panel to control the
Aux buses of that suite. The configuration settings for this Aux panel are
saved with Eng setups, however, and so are independent from individual
Suite and User Pref settings. This setting is generally used for Aux panels
that reside outside a local workspace, for example a machine room or video
operations area.
The four
Suite 1/2 Surface A/B
buttons assign that Aux panel to control the Aux
buses of that suite. Associating a Remote Aux panel with a control surface
gives the TD control over the source to button mapping and Aux bus to del-
egation mapping as part of his User Prefs. Remote Aux panels associated
with a control surface would be used when additional Aux bus selection is
needed by that operator. For example, the TD often needs instant access to
the Aux buses feeding their external DVE. Remote Aux panels are often
used for this purpose.
