User manual
3.1.4.2 - " Triax" frame
1. «TRIAX» receptacle
Connection of TRIAXIAL cable
connecting the camera to the Channel
Control Unit.
The cable provides transmission of the
various signals and supplies the camera.
2 «DC OUT» connector
Connection of cable connecting the
camera to the external DC/DC converter.
The voltage produced on this receptacle is
not regulated and varies between 30 and 52
V DC depending on:
• The length and type of the triaxial
cable.
• The power consumed by the external
DC-to-DC converter.
The power produced on this socket varies
from 85 W maximum to 25 W minimum
depending on the length and type of the
triaxial cable.
The - 5 V is used to delay starting of the
external DC-to-DC converter on camera
power-on, so as to prevent tripout of the
Channel Control Unit power supply. This
should be used for this application only.
If a DC-to-DC converter is connected (even
without load) to a camera in operation, the
safety system will cause the camera circuit-
breaker to trip.
The converter connections must be made
with the camera power off.
