Symptom / Problem Observed :
Ringing effect (Visible mainly on a blue screen).
Solution :
The ringing effect must be reduced by a correct adjustment of the raster
shift circuit :
- In 16/9 format with a Geometry pattern :
- Enter in service mode.
- Geometry menu : reduce H-Amplitude from 16 steps.
- Video menu : enter in G2 Alignment, increase G2 voltage
(SCREEN potentiometer) slightly until raster becomes visible.
- Center the raster between tube borders (equal distance on both sides)
with PL551 ON DFB Board.
- Return to Geometry menu.
- Adjust the previous H-Amplitude.
- Adjust the H-Position and G2 alignment.
