Problem
Possible causes and solutions
You hear a 'pop' sound when switching the keyboard on and
off.
This is normal. No reason for concern.
No sound can be heard when playing the piano.
Make sure that the volume control is set appropriately.
Check if headphones are connected to the headphone output.
Connecting headphones will mute the speakers of the key‐
board.
There is sound interference or interruption, or the keyboard
does not respond at all.
The power supply or the state of charge of the batteries are
insufficient.
Use the plug-in power adapter supplied or replace the bat‐
teries.
In Sustain mode, the notes are held for different lengths of
time.
This is normal. The best sustain length for the respective notes
is pre-set.
When the synchronous function is activated, the automatic
accompaniment does not run.
Check whether the one-finger or multi-finger chord accompa‐
niment is set. Play one of the 19 left piano keys.
When using the plug-in power supply, there is no sound after
switching on, the display remains dark.
Check whether the wall outlet is supplying voltage and
whether the power adapter is plugged in correctly.
When using batteries, there is no sound after switching on, the
display remains dark.
Check whether the batteries have been inserted with the cor‐
rect polarity or whether they are empty.
The pitch is not correct.
Check that the transpose value is set to
‘00’
.
Interference occurs when using a cell phone.
Using a mobile phone near the keyboard may cause interfer‐
ence. To prevent this, turn off the mobile phone or use it only
at a safe distance.
