Phillips Screwdriver
Wear protective gloves and eye wear when
you touch material that has been in contact
with human waste.
Disinfect your tools and work surface after you
complete this replacement procedure.
REDUCE HOLDING TANK ODOR: Rinse the
toilet with water, drain the holding tank, and
add Thetford Holding Tank Deodorant.
Replace Part
1. Turn off RV water supply per RV Owner’s Manual.
2. Pull straight up to remove existing Seat & Cover Assembly.
3. Disconnect

(Fig. A).
4. Slip off
C
on right side of crank arm (Fig. B).
5. Remove two screws at top of

(2x) (Fig. C).
6. Slide
A
back toward wall, out of cradle and off (Fig. D).
7. Slide
E
(left) off - it will fall. (Fig. D).
8. Hold

(Fig. D) and twist

to separate. Discard
A
.
9. Connect

to
K1
(new part).
10. Attach

11. Slide
K1
into cradle. Be sure tongue
fi
ts into slot, and screw
slots line up.
12. Replace
A1
(2x). Tighten.
13. Replace

14. Reconnect

15. Turn on RV water supply. Check for leaks at back of toilet.
16. Flush test toilet.
17. Replace Seat & Cover Assembly to toilet.
