PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
TI970 thermostat is intended for controlling floor heating cables. The thermostat
is programmable and it regulates the temperature of a room or floor automatically
according to defined or measured temperature values. Temperature values can be
set b5°C and +40°
C degrees. When wood is selected as floor material,
temperature values can be set b5°C and 27°C degrees.
Read the operation and installation instructions carefully before installing and using
the thermostat. Remember to store the installation and operation instructions for
later use.
TI970 has an internal room sensor and an external floor sensor. The used sensor
can be selected through the setting menus of the thermostat (floor sensor must
be connected). The thermostat can be set in either Automatic, Personal, Manual,
LP, ECO or Power regulation modes. Primary function of the Automatic mode is
to lower the temperature at times of day and night when the user does not require
a higher temperature for comfort. This way it is possible to save energy. Default
program settings are listed in table 1. The default setting is suitable for most
conditions. When Personal mode is activated, you can create customized daily
schedules to minimize energy consumption and maximize comfort. There can be
up to five set points per day. The manual mode is used to override the automatic
and personal modes, whereupon only one set temperature is in continuous use. LP
mode is a special mode for laminated and parquet floors which prevents damage
to the floor when heating is switched ON. ECO mode reduces energy costs to
a minimum. Power regulation is used to switch the floor heating ON and OFF
following a percentage value within 30 minutes window.
