Usage of lamps not supplied or approved by Thermo Fisher Scientific for
this detector may result in inferior performance, detector malfunction or
may damage the detector. Detector guaranty may be voided.
Use only lamps supplied or approved by Thermo Fisher Scientific for this
detector.

Replacing the UV Lamp (Deuterium Lamp)
When
•
The lamp is defective
•
After a defined amount of operating hours of the lamp as a
preventive measure
•
The lamp intensity is too low for demanding applications
•
The lamp intensity fluctuates causing artifacts in the baseline
Parts required
•
UV lamp
•
Optionally:

Preparations
1. Turn off the UV lamp.
2. Turn off the device.
