1. Extend the spindles by approx. 10 cm by turning the respective hexagon heads [5]
and adjust the spindles to the same height on all four columns.
2. Place the safety cabinet on the spindles. Check whether the guide pins [4] fit exactly
in the receptacles on the lower frame of the body.
3. Screw in the spindles evenly and in small steps until the hexagon heads butt against
the column heads.
4. To level the working area of the safety cabinet, place a bubble level on the workplate
and turn the levelers [2] at the bottom of the stand with a wrench (size: 24 mm) until
the workplate is exactly level in all directions. When adjusting the device levelers, you
should proceed from left to right and from rear to front.
Leveling the Device
The cabinet should be levelled only after it has been positioned.
1. Remove transport protection (foil) from the workplate or from the workplate
segments.
2. Lift the workplate or the workplate segments and place it/them onto the front and
rear rails in the sample chamber with the wide line of holes facing forward.
3. Device without stand: Place a bubble level onto the workplate and align the
substructure until the bubble level indicates an exactly horizontal position in all
directions.
4. Device with a stand: Place a bubble level onto the workplate and use the four
levellers to effect a level state in all planes.
When adjusting the device stand height, proceed from right to left and from rear to front.
Leveling the device
Never use the spindles to level the device, but use the adjustable levelers in-
stead.
