About the temperature verification kit
The Temperature Verification Kit consists of:
• A probe – The appropriate size for the sample wells in your instrument. The probe can be ordered
separately or a part of a kit. (See “Parts list”
for part numbers for the probes.)
• Digital thermometer – Model 4690 Digital thermometer with 9 V battery
• Light mineral oil
• Cotton swabs

Use this test to verify that the heated cover is within ±3°C of the 105°C set point.
Perform this test annually.
