5.2 General
When the heater is stored long-term:
1. Switch off the heater.
2. Remove the mains plug from the socket.
3. Clean the heater.
5.3 Adjusting the ionisation electrode
1. Remove the top part of the cap.
2. Check the distance between the
electrode and the burner, see fig. 10, and
adjust to the correct distance if
necessary.
3. Fit the top part of the cap.
6 FAULTS
6.1 Troubleshooting table

Warning
Remove the mains plug from the
socket and shut the gas supply off
during maintenance.
During faultfinding, make sure that
the mains voltage is switched on and
the gas supply is open.
Warning
Remove the mains plug from the
socket and shut the gas supply off
during repair.
Fault Cause Solution Action
The heater does not
start up. 1 The heater has no volt-
age. Check the electrical connec-
tion. User
2 The fan motor turns
heavily or is blocked. Check if the fan motor is dirty
or blocked. User
Replace the fan motor. Dealer
3 The thermostat is set to
a too low temperature. Correct the settings. User
4 There is no through-
connector on the ther-
mostat connection. Fit the through-connector. User
5 Defect in the operating
panel Repair or replace the operat-
ing panel Dealer
The heater triggers
an error; the red
lamp on the operat-
ing panel lights.
7 If the orange lamp also
lights, the plug is incor-
rectly inserted in the
socket. Reverse the plug. User
