Replacing the Electrometer Board
To replace the electrometer board, you will need:
• New Electrometer board (PN 119590-0500)
• Screwdriver, Phillips #1
• Wrench, Allen, 3 mm
• Wrench, open-ended, 17 mm
• Wrench, open-ended, 9/16-in.
1. Cover the work area with a lint-free cloth.
2. Shut down and vent the DSQ II, as described in
"Shutting Down the GC/MS System"
.
3. Remove the left cover, as described in "
Removing the Left Cover" on page 29
4. Remove the electrometer board.

a.
Disconnect the cable.
b. Remove the calibration gas vial so you have space to remove the electrometer cover.
c.
Remove the two screws holding the electrometer board cover in place.
WARNING - ELECTRICAL SHOCK HAZARD.
Before proceeding. unplug the DSQ II to
avoid an electrical shock.
