5.4 AE Power and Computer Connections
Power Receptacle
The power in receptacle on the top of the AE (see Figure 5-4 ) provides a
connection to the AE main power. Connect the power cord provided in the AE
Ship Kit (P/N 069066) from this connector to a grounded, single-phase power
source.
The power cord is configured with a NEMA L5-20P plug (125 Vac/20 A twist-
lock) (see
Figure 5-5 ) for connection to facility power terminated as a NEMA L5-
20R wall receptacle. Other wall plugs or hard-wired connections may be used,
provided that arrangements are made with Thermo Fisher Scientific before
