3. If either fuse is blown, replace both fuses.

4. Insert fuse drawer and reconnect power cord.

Pump Replacement

Use the following procedure to replace the pump (see 

Figure 7-4

). To 

rebuild the pump, see “Pump Rebuilding” in the “Preventive Maintenance” 
chapter.

Equipment Required:

110V pump

Philips screwdriver

1. Turn instrument OFF, unplug the power cord, and remove the cover.

2. Disconnect pump power line from AC PUMP connector on the 

measurement interface board.

3. Remove both lines from pump.

Equipment Damage 

Some internal components can be damaged by small 

amounts of static electricity. A properly grounded antistatic wrist strap must 
be worn while handling any internal component.
