PROBLEM
POSSIBLE CAUSE
SOLUTION
There is no light on the re-
mote control.
There are no batteries in the
remote control.
Insert batteries in the remote
control.
D batteries have
been used. D batter-
ies have an extra layer of foil
around them, and are there-
fore too thick to use in the
remote control.
Replace the batteries with a
different type.
The batteries are out of pow-
er.
Replace the batteries.
The remote control is
switched off.
The remote control can be
switched on again by touch-
ing the on/off button.
The remote control has gone
into standby.
Activate the remote control
by briefly touching any of the
icons.
The remote control has gone
into sleep mode.
Activate the remote control
by briefly touching any of the
icons twice in quick succession
The light in the remote con-
trol is very weak
When the power in the re-
mote control is almost used
up, the light in the remote
control will become weaker.
The extractor hood can still
be operated.
Replace the batteries when
the extractor hood can no
longer be operated.
The remote control's func-
tions are hard to activate.
The remote control has a
touch panel which is adjusted
with very slight movements.
The remote control will not
respond if pressed down hard.
