CONNECTION OF REMOTE CONTROL
The radio-controlled remote control can be paired with the PCB, regardless of the rotary DIP switch set-
ting for the control panel.
NOTE: The antenna should always be extended and outside of the box in order to ensure optimal func-
tionality of the remote control.
The connection is carried out as follows:
•
Disconnect the mains power to the PCB (it is not enough that all features are disabled). The power
must be disconnected for at least 60 seconds, to ensure that the electronics are reset.
•
Ensure that the remote control is ready for use and the batteries are correctly inserted. Check that
the remote control can be activated.
•
Reconnect the power to the hood. If the power has been connected for long enough, a ‘beep’ sound
should be heard from the PCB.
•
Turn on the remote control by activating one of the functions and using the + or - button to adjust
the function. This must be done within 8 seconds of the power being reconnected to the hood.
•
If coupling is done correctly, the remote control will start to control the hood's functions.
•
If the coupling fails, start the process again.
