8. When replacing the regulator, make sure its cap fitting is facing
upward, so it can be easily accessed (see Figure 66).

Gas Leaks
Carefully check for gas leaks at each gas component that was
removed, replaced, or otherwise serviced using a gas leak detector or
bubble test.
6.3.12 Ignition Device Removal and Replacement
1. Follow all safety precautions and steps in Preparing the Range for
Servicing , page 19 .
2. Follow all steps in Accessing Components under the Maintop ,
page 19 .
3. Pull to detach the two plastic side connectors from the ignition
device (see Figure 67).
4. Using a T-20 driver, remove and retain the two screws securing
the ignition device to the range chassis.

Replace the ignition device if needed.

6.3.13 LED Indicator Removal and Replacement
1. Follow all safety precautions and steps in Preparing the Range for
Servicing , page 19 .
2. Follow all steps in Accessing Components under the Maintop ,
page 19 .
3. Pull to disconnect the white plastic male and female wire
connectors of the LED indicator (see Figure 68, page 41).
