4 Maintenance
Periodically, lubricate the Phoenix Window Adapter frame
with a silicone based lubricant at the sliding rods.
Check the frame for burrs and the canvas for wear.
5 Washing Instructions
The canvas portion of the adapter can be machine washed
cold on the gentle cycle. Lay flat to dry. Do not tumble dry!

Lower the window by hand so that it sits firmly on top of
the window adapter. Pass the other end of the locking
strap through the Ladder Loc on the window adapter and
tighten (Fig. 4).
3.3 Installing Duct
With the window adapter secure, grasp the slide lock on
the cinch cord, press the locking button, and slide the lock
to the end of the cord. Expand the opening of the window
adapter to the desired width. Pass the ducting through the
opening of the window adapter, and tighten the cord. The
cinch cord may be tightened completely if a portal is not
used (Fig. 5).
