Rack Mounts

2.2.1

Mounting Brackets

The rack-mount brackets (flanges) are used to secure the chassis to the 19” rack (see

Figure 2-13

). Handles are used to pull the RES-32XR3-S  for X8DTL-6/6F from the

rack when rack-mount slides have been installed on the sides of the chassis (see fol-
lowing section).

2.2.2

Rack-Mount Slides (Optional)

Rack-Mount Slides can be mounted on each side of the RES-32XR3-S  for X8DTL-
6/6F for the purpose of sliding the unit in and out of a rack. Mounting slides are
optional and should be ordered at the time your system is purchased.
