VOLUME
The push button allows you to adjust the volume. There are 5 volume settings - you will
hear three beeps when you reach the maximum and/or minimum volume.
PROGRAM PRESETS
Your PSAP includes four programmed settings to quickly adjust to different
environments. Press and hold the “Up Volume” button for two seconds to select the
next setting. You will hear one to four beeps corresponding to the four settings. Press
and hold the “Up Volume” button again to cycle through the four settings.
1. Normal – equal amplification across all pre-programmed frequencies
2. Noisy – reduces background noise (restaurant, wind and road noise)
3. Outdoor – decreases overall sound amplification
4. Meeting – increases voice frequency while decreases base and high frequency
sound
BATTERIES
The proper battery size for your PSAP is
Size 312
. You can order online at Amazon or
pick up at your local drugstore or pharmacy.
Under normal use, your battery should last about a week. Make sure to bring a spare
battery before you leave home. To conserve battery life, make sure to switch off (by fully
opening the battery door) when you are not wearing. In addition, we recommend
removing your PSAP from your ear and fully opening the battery door during sleep every
night to conserve battery life.
You will hear a beep when you reach
the maximum or minimum volume.

Remove the sticky tab
from the new battery.
Wait 2 minutes so
battery can be exposed
to air and activate.
Insert new battery into battery door.
Make sure the + (plus sign) is
facing up.
Close the battery door. The
PSAP will turn on automatically.
Confirm the door is shut – there
should be a slight click.
TURN ON
To turn off the PSAP, simply
open the battery door.
TURN OFF
Place the PSAP behind your ear.
The amplifier should have an ear
dome attached.
Hold the bend of the amplifier wire
between your thumb and index
finger. The ear dome should point
towards the opening of the ear canal.
Gently push the ear dome into your ear canal
until the amplifier wire sits close to your head.
Place the ear grip in the ear so it follows the
contour of the ear.
CHANGING THE EAR DOME
Everyone’s ear is unique! Your PSAP comes with different sized ear domes so pick
the right size that suits your unique ear. Make sure you choose a comfortable fit that
is not too tight; however, the more loose the fit, the more likely you may hear some
whistling or reverb.

Hold the amplifier and then pull
off the ear dome.
Insert the amplifier exactly into
the middle of the ear dome.
Push firmly to ensure that the
earpiece is fastened securely.
